iMANY, the leading provider of contract performance, announced three executive appointments to its development team. Gonzalo Castro will assume the role of Vice President of Product Management, Chip Alexander was named Chief Architect of User Interface and Experience, and Jin Huang was appointed Vice President of Development. All three executives will report to Lawrence Lindsey, Chief Development Officer, effective immediately.

Gonzalo Castro will direct product management and ensure alignment of iMANY's ContractSphere platform with customer needs and industry demands. Castro comes to iMANY from DecisionView, where he was Vice President of Product Marketing, responsible for product management, product marketing and product strategy. Prior to DecisionView, he was Director of Life Sciences Product Strategy at Oracle Corporation. Before joining Oracle, Castro worked at Siebel Systems in a number of roles within the Life Sciences Product Marketing group where he successfully conceived, developed and launched applications that are used by some of the largest global pharmaceutical companies. In addition to his software career, Castro served as an Operations Research Consultant at ZS Associates where he applied advanced modeling to enhance sales and marketing strategies, pioneering the use of optimization algorithms to solve complex business problems and generating new revenue streams for the company. Castro holds an MS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.

Chip Alexander will be responsible for user-centered design best practices, methodologies and standards to ensure iMANY's ContractSphere platform continues to lead the industry in usability, adoption and productivity. Alexander will collaborate closely with the development and go-to-market teams to lead user experience activities across the software development lifecycle, including funded development initiatives. Alexander brings 24 years of experience designing intuitive user experiences and leading user interface design teams for rapid technology adoption and increased productivity. He was formerly a User Interface Architect at both Oracle and Sun Microsystems. Alexander holds a Bachelor's degree from The University of California at Berkeley.

Jin Huang, formally iMANY's Senior Director of Engineering and Program Management for the last 3 years, will assume the role of Vice President of Development. Huang is responsible for architecture, engineering and quality assurance of the entire iMANY family of products. He brings 16 years of engineering experience in the enterprise software application space. Prior to joining iMANY, Huang worked for Business Objects/Nsite Software where he served as Director of Engineering for the Nsite On Demand Application Platform. Prior to Business Objects/Nsite Software, Huang held several engineering leadership positions at Oracle specializing in transportation, scheduling, planning and supply chain optimization solutions. Previously, Huang held various engineering positions at IBM and other companies. He holds multiple advanced degrees in computer science and related fields, including an MS degree in CAD/CAM and a PhD degree in Computer Integrated Engineering Systems from Xi'an Jiao Tong University in Xi'an, China. He also holds an MS degree in Computer Science from University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
