Huntsman Corp., Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LP, and Montgomery Chemicals LLC are the latest companies to join the American Chemistry Council. Peter Huntsman, president and CEO of Huntsman, said: "We are pleased with the new focus and direction at ACC, and we are excited to be rejoining this dynamic association." According to ACC's chairman of the board, Andrew Liveris, who is also chairman and CEO of the Dow Chemical Co., these new members demonstrate how ACC has revitalized itself as a leading advocate for the chemical industry in Washington, D.C. "They and the ACC are a natural fit, working toward a common cause. Together, we will show how the sum of our efforts is greater than what each company could do alone as we champion causes that enable our industry to grow and prosper while fostering human progress."
