VERONA, Italy (Reuters) - Enel Green Power, Italy's biggest renewable company, will rely on its own strength to compete in solar systems manufacturing and will steer clear of sector consolidation, an EGP senior executive said on Tuesday.
A wave of world-wide consolidation in the sector is expected to start next year, triggered by increasing competition between European, U.S. and Asian manufacturers, EGP Executive Vice President Ingmar Wilhelm told Reuters in an interview.
