The FDC Controller provides user-friendly and reliable pulse cleaning control for all types of cartridge and baghouse dust collection systems. Using factory-programmed or customer-selected settings, it monitors pressure differential across the filters to ensure more efficient pulse cleaning, reducing compressed air usage and extending filter life. Clear, permanent instructions are posted on the NEMA 4X water- and chemical-proof box. A pulse cleaning switch on the front of the box allows the user to turn pulsing off, to pulse continuously based on pre-determined settings, or to clean on demand when the high pressure setting is reached and a dirty filter alarm sounds. The user can program the controller settings using a simple five-step intuitive procedure that is self-taught in less than a minute. The control board inside the unit includes 10 solenoid outputs to interface with the dust collection system, plus an additional 10 outputs on a lower expander board.
