Fast Simulations for Engineers

Release 3.4 of the Comsol Multiphysics engineering and scientific software environment for modeling and simulating any physics-based system features new multicore processor support that uses the maximum number of cores available on the system.

Release 3.4 of the Comsol Multiphysics engineering and scientific software environment for modeling and simulating any physics-based system features new multicore processor support that uses the maximum number of cores available on the system. It also gives users complete control over the number of processors dedicated to their simulations. Included are new fluid dynamic solver methods for simulating very large problems in chemical engineering, heat transfer, or microfluidics applications as well as enhancements throughout its suite of discipline-specific modules for such simulations as chemical engineering, RF, reaction engineering, and structural mechanics.
