A-T Controls, a supplier of ball valves, actuators, controls, and packaged solutions for process industries, has received TA-Luft low-emission certification for its range of direct-mount valves with a patented pyramidal stem seal system. Fourteen Triac Series valves with a unique live-loaded packing system passed the TA-Luft standard, established by the German TUV agency and considered the most stringent standard on valve emissions. TA-Luft testing requires less than 1 ppm leakage through the valve stem. Triac valves can reduce fugitive emissions and lost product by 99 percent or more compared to legacy control valves.
