The acquisition of the assets of Escor, a Milwaukee-based engineering and design firm that provides control systems for use in wastewater treatment systems, was announced by Dresser Roots, Houston, TX. Dresser Roots air and gas moving equipment is used in a wide variety of applications including wastewater treatment. With the acquisition of Escor, Dresser Roots is able to expand its controls expertise and position itself as the single-source supplier of both blowers and aeration systems for wastewater treatment facilities around the world. Established in 2001, Escor is composed of Energy Strategies Corp. and Jenkins Engineering Inc.
