FARMINGDALE, N.Y., March 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cemtrex Inc. (OTC:CTEI) announces that a new line of carbon dioxide sensors has been added to their portfolio of gas sensing instruments.

The CDS 300 CO2 Sensor is the key element in applying Demand Control Ventilation (DCV), a technique that provides the precise amount of ventilation for the number of people occupying a space at a given time. Implementing this practice into commercial buildings creates energy savings on average of 26%.

Due to recent developments regarding the federal government's stimulus package, energy efficiency programs are high on the to-do list. The market for carbon dioxide sensors has grown by 80% due to the numerous incentives that have been created to help incorporate energy efficiency practices into buildings, including rebates for the purchase of sensors and on total kilowatt reduction on a yearly basis.
