Donald Trump Brings His "Thank You" Tour to Pennsylvania; UK Labour Leaders Blame Russian Hackers For Brexit - Part 1

O'REILLY-FACTOR-01

FACTOR-01

Leaders Blame Russian Hackers For Brexit - Part 1>

DONALD TRUMP (R), PRESIDENT-ELECT: We're going to maybe have to do something about that. What do you think, yes?

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

Patriotism will be celebrated in our cities and taught very, very strongly to our children. And that patriotism will be the foundation of our economic plan bringing jobs back to America. We're bringing our jobs back, folks. They have been ripped away.

(APPLAUSE)

That's why we're going to lower our business tax and we are going to lower our business tax big league from 35 percent to 15 percent. Right now we are one of the highest taxed nations in the world. And we're going to be among the lowest. And we're going to have jobs come pouring back. We want to bring in new companies and new jobs to our shores. That's also why we're going to eliminate job-killing regulations. Cancel many executive orders, believe me, we are going to be canceling a lot. And lift the restrictions on the production of American energy, including shale, oil, natural gas, and clean coal.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

And we are going to put our miners back to work. Okay? Get ready. Get those shovels ready. Another critical element of our jobs plan is the historic one trillion-dollar investment in our crumbling infrastructure. Our infrastructure is going to hell. We're going to fix our infrastructure. Do you know, we've spent as of two weeks ago $6 trillion in the Middle East. We could have rebuilt our country three times over.

And right now we're in worse shape in the Middle East than we were 15 years ago when we started by a factor of 10. Our bridges are deficient. Our roads are in disrepair, and our airports are like third world countries. I am asking Congress to support the construction of new roads, bridges, airports, tunnels, and railways all across our nation. We're going to do it.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

And we're going to build it on time, on budget. Not for three times what it is supposed to cost. And we will put our people back to work in the process. It's time to help get Americans off welfare and back in to the labor market.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

Rebuilding our country with American hands and American workers. We're going to rebuild our country. We're going to do it ourselves, folks. My administration will follow two simple rules. Buy American and hire American.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

At the center of this agenda is fixing our absolutely terrible trade deals. I mean, NAFTA, you look at that it's been defective for 20 years. It's been defective from the day it was signed it has been defective. Pennsylvania, congratulations because you are just about at the bottom of the pack in this, has lost more than one-third of your manufacturing jobs since NAFTA. Just about as bad as there is in the country.

Although I must say Michigan and a couple of other places have actually done worse. Okay? Right? But you're all going to do great now because we are bringing those jobs back. America is now running, listen to this. A nearly $800 billion annual trade deficit. In other words, all these people they work to make these trade deals, right? We lose almost $800 billion a year. Who are these people? Any business people in this large, large audience?

(CHEERS)

Hard to believe. Almost $800 billion a year and we never make good deals. I actually said to my people today, they're going over Mexico, it doesn't work. China is all time record-setting. We're going to lose $500 billion trade deficit. All of these places. And I said give me a good deal. Do you know what they said? There are none. We don't deal with anybody. It's almost amazing that our country can even make it. But it's not going to make it for much longer if we don't get this thing going, okay? Now, think of it think of it. It is so terrible.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

We've lost and this one I can't even believe it. I say it all the time. We have lost 70,000 factories since China joined the World Trade Organization. Now, I used to say who signed it? I used to say who supported it? We don't care anymore, right? You know who I'm talking about, right? I don't care. It's a disaster. It's the greatest jobs theft in the history of the world. Nobody has ever lost like we have lost. All because we got sold down the river by our either stupid politicians or corrupt politicians. All right?

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

Except for these three guys down here. They are great. They are great. A Trump administration will defend American industry and it will defend the American worker. You've got to be defended. It will defend the American worker. Boy, did we come out and vote. You know they forgot about the American voter. They talked about everybody, right? They are going to do this group and that group and by the way, women, thank you very much.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

I mean, thank you. Women. Thank you, women. I was getting -- these polls were killing me. The women -- Donald Trump has almost no women. And then I would come and I would see these signs. Look at those signs. I would see these pink beautiful signs, we did great with women. We did great with the African-American community. So good. Remember? Remember the famous line because I talk about crime? I talk about lack of education. I talk about no jobs. And I would say what the hell do you have to lose, right? It's true.

And they are smart and they picked up on it like you wouldn't believe. And you know what else? They didn't come out to vote for Hillary. They didn't come out. And that was a big. So thank you to the African-American community. Thank you to the Hispanic community. Incredible. The Hispanic community was great. You know, they all heard the wall -- well, guess what? People that are in our country legally, if their Hispanic, they don't want people coming in and taking their jobs. They don't want people coming in and taking their homes. They want to see safety. So the Hispanic community was fantastic. And the evangelical Christians unbelievable. We set records, right? Set records.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

And I shouldn't say this. This is terrible. But as a couple of our pastors, Pastor Jeffress, a couple of them. Reverend Graham. You know, how good was Billy Graham? Was he the greatest? Right? Well, he's got his son Franklin. And Franklin Graham would say and Paula White and so many others would say, Donald Trump may not be perfect but he is going to be the best leader by far. Right?

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

May not be perfect. They were great. What great people. We set an all- time record in the history of elections of this country with the evangelicals and that is really cool. And that includes what happened in the primaries. Remember in the primaries I was going to lose in all these different states because of all the evangelicals? And then I would win by 22 points like, as an example, South Carolina. Like Alabama, like Arkansas, like so many. Kentucky. And they were all saying, wow, Donald Trump is doing fantastically with the evangelical Christians. He is doing fantastically. But I knew. But we did even better in the general election. So we had the all-time highest vote in the history of elections with evangelicals, right?

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

Our goal is to bring back a very beautiful phrase. Do you remember when we were young, some of us, some of you are or so, you know, you don't remember because you are so young already. We have a young audience. Do you remember we had stamped on to cars and stamped on to equipment made in the U.S.A.? Right? Made in the U.S.A. Right?

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

Even the young people like it. And, frankly, if it said made in Japan or made some place else, it wasn't considered good. It wasn't considered good. We're going to bring back "Made in the U.S.A." And we're going to have a lot of jobs come back. We're going to have a lot of jobs. And you know what? If companies leave and fire their workers, they leave Pennsylvania. Or they leave Indiana. Or they leave any one of the states we are talking about or any state in the union, they leave, and they go to Mexico or some other country, plenty of them and they think they are going to fire everybody and they are going to have their product come right through those weak borders.

All of those borders are going to be so strong now. And they are going to sell that product and that product isn't going to be taxed, probably at a rate of about 35 percent for the people that leave. And here's what's going to happen. You know, the people that write the articles, they say Donald Trump is not a free trader. No, I'm a smart trader. Okay. Smart trader.

Here's what we're going to do. You are going to put that tariff on. Company leaves. Makes their air condition -- Carrier was very nice by the way. I have to tell you. But I mean, what they don't know is that the people that did go down there is going to be a little hard to sell that product back in. But we won't talk about that. But Carrier was fantastic, they really were. And I hope you go out and buy some Carrier air conditioners. Because they are just about one of the few that are left in this country. And I told the people at Carrier, you saw the publicity that got. And we have thousands of people, families, that are going to have great Christmases in Indiana now because of that.

(CHEERS)

But I told them you are going to make up a lot because you are going to do a lot of business and a lot of people are feeling very strong about what they did. But it's going to be that they will have consequences when they leave our country and think they are going to sell the product right back over a border. No tax, no nothing. Because you know what? It doesn't work that way for other countries. You look at what China is doing. China taxes our products going into China big league.

And they don't want us anyway. They don't even want the tax. You take a look at other countries. So when they talk about free trade, it's free for them but it's not free for us. All right? Not free for us. So that's the way it is. But we have to be a rich nation again. And we have to be a safe nation. The murder rate in the United States is the largest that it has been in 45 years. Nobody knows that. They don't tell you that. Do you guys ever say that? No. They don't say that. They don't want to hear that.

(CROWD BOOING)

And we are going to support the incredible men and women of law enforcement.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

And we are going to bring this terrible crime wave to an immediate end. And it can go quickly. One of the greatest public safety threats remains open borders. I always say there goes your safety, there goes your country. We will build a great, great wall and we will put an end to illegal immigration and we are going to stop the drugs from pouring into our country and poisoning the youth of Pennsylvania and every other state.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

CROWD CHANTING: Donald Trump! Donald Trump!

TRUMP: We're going to build the wall. We're going to build the wall. We have to. You know, the border patrol, you know this, 16,500 great people because their job is much tougher when I win because we're going to enforce the laws. They want to enforce -- they endorsed me. First time they have ever endorsed a presidential candidate. ICE, the men and women of ICE. They're smart, they're tough, they love the country. They endorsed us. It's not me. It's us.

First time they've ever endorsed. What does it mean? It means you have to work harder. But these are people that know what they are doing. We are going to break up the gangs. We are going to break up the cartels and the criminal syndicates. Terrorizing our cities and our neighborhoods. And they are being terrorized just take a look on long island, New York. And you take a look at what is happening out there. It is really bad.

And our local police, knew exactly who they are and want to do something about it and they are being stopped. So, we are going to work in that and we're going to get a safe country to protect our country from terrorism and extremism. I will suspend immigration and refugee admissions from regions where they cannot be safely processed or vetted.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

We will keep radical Islamic terrorists the hell out of our country.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

Keep them out. We have got enough problems. We have got enough problems, right? We have got to bring our jobs back. We don't want problems. And we'll build safe zones in Syria. When I look what's going on in Syria, it's so sad. It's so sad and we have got to help people. And we have the Gulf States. They have nothing but money. We don't have money. We owe $20 trillion. I will get the Gulf States to give us lots of money and we will build and help build safe zones in Syria so people can have a chance. So they can have a chance. Ethics reform will be a crucial part of our plan as well. We are going to drain the swamp of corruption in Washington, D.C.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

Right? I will impose a five year ban on executive branch officials becoming lobbyists and a lifetime ban on officials becoming lobbyists for a foreign government. And I will tell you what else I'm going to ban. When we have our purchase agents giving out billions and billions and billions of dollars of contracts to the military and to all of these people where they are buying airplanes where you see these tremendous cost overruns. Take a look at the F-35 program. Take a look.

And the people that gave out those contracts, give me a break. We are going to impose a lifetime ban on people that give these massive contracts out or even small contracts. You want to work for the United States, you work for the United States. You're not going to go to work for the people that build these planes and people that do the drugs with all of the different things. You know, the cost of drugs in this country, we're about the largest purchaser of pharmaceuticals anywhere in the world.

And, yet, we can't negotiate the price. I wonder why. You don't think it has anything to do with the drug companies. We're going to open it up. We're going to face many challenges. But this is truly an exciting time to be alive. The script is not yet written. We do not know what the page will read tomorrow. But for the first time in a long, long time, what we do know is that the pages will be authored by each and every one of you and you.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

You, the American people, will finally be in charge again your voice, your desires, your hopes, and your aspirations will never again fall on deaf ears. The forgotten men and women of our country will not be forgotten anymore. Remember that.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

You sure as hell weren't forgotten on Election Day, were you, huh? But you hear some of them saying are saying, where are all these people coming from? Together, we will raise incomes and create millions and millions of great new jobs. We will repeal the disaster known as ObamaCare and create new healthcare reforms that work for you and your family. We will reestablish the rule of law, defend the Second Amendment. Protect religious liberty.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

And appoint justices to the United States Supreme Court who will uphold and defend the constitution of the United States.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

We will heal our divisions and unify our country. We will be a unified country again. When Americans are unified, there is nothing we cannot do. No task is too great. No dream too large. No goal beyond our reach. My message tonight is for all Americans from all parties, all beliefs, all walks of life. Whether you are African-American, Hispanic-American or Asian-American, or whatever the hell you are, remember that we are all- Americans and we are all united by one shared destiny.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

So, I'm asking everyone.

CROWD CHANTING: USA! USA!

TRUMP: So, I'm asking everyone to join this incredible movement. And that's what it is. All over the world they're talking about what's happening here. All over the world. Pundits have said and I mean pundits that truly dislike Donald Trump have said this is the single greatest political phenomenon that that they have ever seen.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

And it's about you. It's not about me. It's about you. I'm asking you to dream big and bold and daring things for your family and for your country. I am asking you to believe in yourself again and I'm asking you to believe in America.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

And if we do that, then all together, we will make America strong again. We will make America wealthy again. We will make America wealthy again. We will make America safe again. And we will make America great again.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

Thank you. Thank you, Pennsylvania. Thank you. God bless you, Merry Christmas. Thank you, Pennsylvania. Thank you.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

TUCKER CARLSON, FOX NEWS HOST: There he is, the President-elect of the United States, Donald Trump wrapping up his latest in a long-speaking tour across the middle of the country tonight in Hershey, Pennsylvania. You're hearing his signature rally sound track in the background you can't always get what you want by the Rolling Stones. It was a long and discursive and interesting speech that mixed policy and a recap as you heard if you listen to it of the last election where he was on election night and many jabs at the media in there.

We're joined now by our panel who sat through the speech. Daniel Halper of "The New York Post." Bureau chief of "The New York Post." Great to see you.

LISA BOOTHE, WASHINGTON EXAMINER: Great to see you.

CARLSON: Daniel Halper, what do you make of that?

DANIEL HALPER, BUREAU CHIEF, "THE NEW YORK POST": I think what's really striking is, I have never before, I mean, until Donald Trump seen a politician who goes around the country after he has won and give essentially the same sort of speech that he gave when he was campaigning. I think -- while you never see other politicians do that is because they always lower expectations once they get into office. Once they have won they start playing it down, well, you know, if you recall, President Obama, well we have inherited a bad economy.

CARLSON: Right.

HALPER: It's going to be a slow process. Trump was not backing away from anything. So in terms of ISIS, he is going to destroy it. In terms of the economy and jobs and immigration and drugs, he is going to improve all those things. And it's very striking that he is not backing away from any of the promises he has made. And in fact, he is doubling down, maybe it's a political naivete, the reason he is doing it. But t's got to be very heartening. If your Trump fan at home, you're like, this guy is actually going to follow through. You know, we have time to determine that but he is not backing away from the promises.

CARLSON: He is not. And Lisa Boothe if you listen to what he said, it really sounded a lot like his campaign speeches. Who is the audience for this? People who voted for him? People who are not yet won over by him?

BOOTHE: No. I mean, I think his supporters. The people who stood with him all the time. And I think what we saw at the beginning was sort of him being defiant. And what I kind of loved about it, there is sort of like a trolling that was going on. Because right now you have had this sort of coordinated effort by the media, by the left to delegitimize Donald Trump.

CARLSON: Right.

BOOTHE: And we have seen literally everything under the sun been thrown at him as the reason why Donald Trump's victory was not legitimate. It's the, you know, popular vote and Hillary Clinton really shouldn't be the winner. It's the, you know, racism, fake news, sexism, now it's the Russians, the latest scapegoat. And so I think what Donald Trump was kind of doing is, you know, sticking the fork in the ground and saying, look, you know, a sword in the ground, something stronger than a fork. And saying, look, like he is sort of beating his chest I won.

And he should be. Because he was utterly discredited the entire time through his candidacy, both in the primary and the general election by the mainstream media, by the left, by a lot of different people. And so I think this is sort of both, you know, throwing a bone to a supporter showing them, look, I appreciate the support, I appreciate you sticking with me and I also think it's sort of a defiance to the people that, you know, didn't support him. The people that said he couldn't win.

CARSON: Right.

BOOTHE: And the people who are trying to delegitimize him right now.

CARSON: Sounds right. John Roberts, our senior national correspondent is live inside the arena who was there for this whole thing. John, what's it like in there?

JOHN ROBERTS, FOX NEWS SENIOR NATIONAL CORRESPONDENT: Hey, good evening to you, Tucker. You know, one of the reasons why Donald Trump is not backing off one iota from his campaign promises delivering much the same speech he did is because there were 13,500 people in the giant arena here in Hershey tonight and they want to hear Donald Trump reiterate what he promised them during the election campaign. They want to hear what motivated them to come out to the polls. Numbers that Republicans have not seen since 1988.

Donald Trump won this state by 44,000 votes. And that's a heck of a fete when you consider that there are a million more registered Democrats here in the state of Pennsylvania than there are Republicans. Donald Trump again said tonight that he was going in to this election looking at the exit polls thinking that he was going to lose, very satisfied, very happy when Pennsylvania vote. Two more of these events to come.

He is going to be in Florida, in Orlando tomorrow, he is going to be in Mobile, Alabama. I've been to three of this so far Tucker but I have to say, this is the biggest crowd that we have seen here tonight. A testament to the fact that people in Pennsylvania trust Donald Trump to improve the economy here, to bring back jobs in the keystone state. He said tonight, four years from now, he's going to win Pennsylvania by an even bigger margin. One thing he did say tonight that was interesting. He talked about Syria very briefly. Said it's so sad to see what's going on in Syria. But no mention of what happened in Aleppo over the last couple of days. No mention of Russia's involvement propping up Bashar al-Assad.

Tucker back to you.

CARLSON: Thanks a lot. John Roberts in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Coming up next, more on what happened tonight in Trump's speech. Bill Hemmer joins us in just a second.

And also -- something he did this weekend that he has never done before. Huh? We have three minutes to guess what it is. Stay tuned.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

CARLSON: Donald Trump just wrapped up his latest post-election rally. This one in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The candy capital.

And for reaction, we go now to the friend zone, that is where we invite one of our friends in the building here at FOX into the show. And tonight, we are especially honored to be joined by our old pal Bill Hemmer, co-anchor of "AMERICA'S NEWSROOM."

BILL HEMMER, FOX NEWS HOST: How are you sir? Nice to be in your zone, Tucker.

CARLSON: Well, we love to have you here. So, you are a master at analyzing things as they happen. Did you see any news in that speech?

HEMMER: I think it was Trump's greatest hits. I mean, if you go down the line election night he loves to talk about that, obviously. The media, ObamaCare, military. A lot of the similar themes by the past 50 minutes I think. By my gauge it was 50 percent teleprompter, 50 percent ad-lib. That was just my reading of it as I sit here in New York. I thought the safe zones in Syria was news.

CARLSON: Yes.

HEMMER: And I also believe him mentioning Josh Earnest is very curious and the context for that, Tucker, is the following. I think the President- elect Trump and President Obama have played very nice with one another in public. But this week that sort of changed from the lectern of the White House. And that had to do with Russia and the elections and what Vladimir Putin's role may or may not have been. And I think Trump takes that to heart. He has got the memory of an elephant. When he called Josh Earnest foolish. That foolish Josh Earnest he could deliver a positive message and make it sound bad. I inferred from that that that's what Trump was referring to there.

CARLSON: I think that's right. And they were clearly stung by Kellyanne Conway responded to it also. So, you were saying, just with Roger Staubach, one of my heroes?

HEMMER: I spoke with him on the phone earlier today. I will tell you what happened. Trump was at the Army-Navy Game over the weekend. Right? And he did an interview on CBS at halftime. And what he said, Tucker, was I don't know if it's necessarily the best football but it's very good but boy do they have spirit more than anybody. It's beautiful. Typical Trump. Staubach was interviewed by a writer for the New York Daily News.

Here is the headline, "Staubach to Donald Trump -- Army Navy football players deserve your respect not your insults." So in this three-page article, I'm looking for the -- I have known Staubach for a long time.

CARLSON: Yes.

HEMMER: I don't know if he has ever insulted anyone other than with a football field. And just so as the audience knows. I mean, this guy, Naval Academy, Heisman Trophy winners, served the navy in Vietnam. A quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, won two Super Bowls, MVP was one of them. I mean, he is about as American as they get. The one quote in here Tucker says, "Service football from Staubach is extremely respectable and very competitive. They won some big games. They're not a top team. But still good football. I really enjoy watching service football."

So, I called Staubach today, very successful real estate businessman in Dallas, Texas. And I read him that headline. I said, Roger, did you say that? And here is what he said. "That is far from the truth. First of all, I don't think Trump said anything bad. He had a lot of good things to say. I know the writer wanted to get to the anti-Trump thing and I wasn't going to go there. A story like this is dishonest. He did not insult navy," meaning Trump. "I did not come close to insult him," meaning Trump. "That's why I don't even like to talk to reporters, Bill."

(LAUGHTER)

But the cat's out of the bag. I mean, this thing is all over the internet. It's out CBSSports.com. NFL.com.

CARLSON: That's unbelievable.

HEMMER: The headline on CBS sports is this. Staubach goes to Trump over Army-Navy Game insults. So, I mean, Tucker just in the frame of this now. You have all of these stories about fake news and what Facebook is doing.
