TOKYO (Kyodo) -- Nissan Motor Co. will voluntarily recall 42,041 Juke compact cars because of possible engine and door problems, the transport ministry said Friday.
The doors of the cars may not shut properly if water seeps in and becomes frozen, according to the ministry. Of these, 3,952 vehicles equipped with turbo engines might malfunction due to faulty air supply-measuring sensors, said the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
Eligible for the recall are cars built between May last year and July this year.
