Siemens Energy has received an order to build a new turnkey 400-kV substation in Abu Dhabi. The order for the 400/132-kV substation is worth over AED500 million (approximately EUR100 million), and was signed with the utility Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Authority (ADWEA) and the transmission grid operator Abu Dhabi Transmission and Despatch Company (Transco).
