Shougang Jingtang United Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., a Chinese steel producer, has engaged Siemens to supply drive, electrical and automation equipment for a continuous annealing line and a double-stand cold reduction mill in cold rolling mill no. 3. The lines are designed to process tinned plate, and will be constructed in the company's plant on the Caofeidian Peninsula in the Hebei Province.
