Great American Group, Inc. (OTCBB: GAMR), a leading provider of asset disposition, valuation and appraisal services, today announced a complete disposition of Aircraftors Engineering, Inc., a Los Angeles area metal products manufacturer. The public auction sale will be conducted live, on-site, Tuesday, September 21, 2010, in a traditional open outcry sale platform.
Aircraftors Engineering formerly served the aircraft industry as a contract manufacturer of precision machined and turned metal components and assemblies. Among the major items to be sold are state-of-the-art, computer-controlled machine tools from globally renowned manufacturers HAAS, FADAL, and OKUMA.
"Machinery coming out of aircraft and aerospace environments is generally in above average condition due to the very close tolerances required in this industry," commented Mark Weitz, President of Great American Group's Wholesale and Industrial Services. "The sale of these machines by public auction offers a terrific opportunity for other manufacturers looking to expand their capacity at this time," Mr. Weitz continued.
The auction sale will take place on-site at 4020 Cheyenne Court in Chino, California on Tuesday, September 21, at 11:00 AM local time, with inspection of all items available from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM on the morning of the sale.
