Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) will launch its global flight test operations hub in the new world-class Mirabel Aerospace Centre. The Honourable Tony Clement, Minister of Industry, Government of Canada, Clement Gignac, Minister of Economic Development, Innovation and Export Trade, Government of Quebec, Mirabel Mayor Hubert Meilleur and P&WC President John Saabas will join industry and business representatives to mark the opening of the first phase of P&WC's state-of-the-art centre.
The $360-million centre will also later house an assembly and test facility with advanced manufacturing technologies where P&WC will assemble and test the PurePower@ PW1524G for the Bombardier CSeries and the PW800 engine family for the next generation of large business jets.
