EPA Awards Over $227,000 to New Mexico to Protect Residents from Radon Gas (NM)
(Dallas, Texas – September 16, 2010)
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded $227,120 to
the New Mexico Environment Department (NMED). The funds will be
used to protect residents of New Mexico, particularly school-age
children, from harmful exposures to radon gas and other indoor air
pollutants that may cause cancer.
