Trade sign manufacturer Sign Industries has launched a new range of contemporary house signs (http://www.signindustries.com/) to add to its growing consumer offering.

Sign Industries, a leading UK sign making (http://www.signindustries.com/) manufacturer has designed a new range of contemporary house signs to be sold to UK consumers.

The approach Sign Industries has adopted has been market led; researching the market and identifying the most common styles of house signs currently available in the UK. This research soon identified a gap in the market where Sign Industries could use their specialism in working with metal, and create a niche offering by producing a range of high quality contemporary metal house signs.

Managing Director Gordon Norrie commented, "Our back ground and core business to date has been producing metal signs in many shapes and forms for companies overseas and throughout the UK, and also not forgetting the sign trade industry itself. However, given our wealth of experience and expertise in this sector we wanted to identify areas where we could grow our business. Our consumer offering until now has been small and mainly consisted of various memorial plaque (http://www.signindustries.com/) designs and general wall plaques, so adding some modern and unique contemporary house signs seemed an obvious route to take. The house signs are made using our signature materials of bronze, brass and stainless steel, which we believe will be a new alternative to the many other similar house sign styles available today, which mainly consist of slate, wood or pottery".

Norrie continued "With all design and manufacturing in-house it is a natural progression for Sign Industries to produce and market specially designed high quality products to the general public alongside our continuing support to our important trade and business customers".

The new range has been initially launched offering 3 distinctive styles which are now available to view online, with Sign Industries continuing to grow this new consumer product line over the coming months.

Sign Industries was formed in 1989 by Gordon and Marjory Norrie. Based at Mains of Gardyne near Forfar, the business has grown into one of the UK's premier trade and retail suppliers of engraved metal and wooden signs.
