LIVERMORE, Calif. (AP) -- Semiconductor testing equipment company FormFactor Inc. said Monday that Tom St. Dennis will be its chief executive officer starting immediately, replacing Carl Everett, who served as CEO since May.
St. Dennis will also take a seat on the board. Everett will become executive chairman, succeeding Jim Prestridge, who will step down as chair but stay on the board as its lead independent director.
St. Dennis was most recently senior vice president at chipmaking equipment manufacturer Applied Materials Inc.
FormFactor's board said in a statement that the appointments of its new CEO and executive chair would help guide the company through its current turnaround and lead it to long-term growth.
