The two companies will deliver the Profitbase Retail BI solution that integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Dynamics AX, Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail, Microsoft Dynamics NAV and LS Retail. The Profitbase Retail BI solution helps retailers improve performance by providing them with a rich set of metrics that enable decision makers to track and optimize financials, vendor, inventory, and store performance.

The solution delivers actionable performance information to users based on their role in the organization. Store Managers can track sales, promotions, inventory turns, out-of-stock SKUs, and margin by category, department, store clerk and more. Regional or chain sales executives are able to monitor top performing stores, categories and inventory. Category managers can see product line and vendor performance. Regardless of their role, everyone from the CEO to the store manager can monitor performance anytime, anywhere. Using a browser and role-based self-service BI interface, users are able to sort, filter and drill to detail to root out problems and solve them quickly.
Profitbase Retail BI solutions are quickly deployed using Profitbase Studio, a data warehouse deployment acceleration tool that is used to create, manage and deploy their out-of-the-box retail business and data source connector templates. The retail business templates capture standard retail metrics and key performance indicators based on the NRF's Association for Retail Technology Standards (ARTS) data standard. Connector templates enable quick connection and data retrieval from many of the most popular ERP and POS systems, including the Microsoft Dynamics AX and AX for Retail, Microsoft Dynamics NAV and LS Retail NAV.
The Profitbase solution is built on Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 and delivers performance information to scorecard, dashboard, and reporting systems, like Microsoft SharePoint.
