Reid Supply Offers Free Industrial Resources

Reid Supply Company launched a new section on its website, ReidSupply.com, that allows customers to access free tools and resource guides for industrial applications.

MUSKEGON, Michigan -- Reid Supply Company, one of the country's leading distributors of industrial supplies, has launched a new section on ReidSupply.com that allows customers to access free tools and resource guides for industrial applications.

Part of the company’s website, ReidSupply.com, includes the Reid Knowledge Base, located at the bottom of the website. This is where anyone visiting Reid can access a variety of free, fun and useful functions.

The company Newsletter presents articles about industry and just fun and interesting things; Tools You Can Use presents a host of industrial widgets for energy conservation, workplace posters, performance benchmarking, newsfeeds, fuel cost calculator, facility assessment wizard, motor calculator and more; The CAD library offers free CAD drawings on tens-of-thousands of Reid Supply industrial parts; Their Resource Guides present industry information about categories of products sold by Reid Supply; White Papers, Product Line Card and more.

“We think that these free resources are very valuable to our industry and educational customers,” says John Carrier, President of Reid Supply Company. “While they are all very useful, I don’t think a lot of people know that we have all of these energy and other calculators right on ReidSupply.com and completely free for anyone to use.”

The company made the tools available to visitors to their website to enhance the use for anyone.

“We created all of these tools for one reason, to help our customers,” says Greg Palmer, Director of Marketing for Reid Supply. “We saw a need for our website for taking this extra step so we made these additions and are very pleased to unveil this part of our site to our customers,"

Having such ready access to this information offers Reid Supply's customers an edge over their competitors, which is crucial in today's economy. The company also makes available tens-of-thousands of free CAD drawings to anyone who visits the site.

"We are very customer centric, and so far, customers are really appreciative of the new tools” says Carrier. “We want to help our customers find the exact products they need and maybe even more. All they need to do is scroll to the bottom of the website."
