CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -- Steelmaker Nucor Corp. said Monday it named John J. Ferriola president and chief operating officer.
Daniel R. DiMicco, the company's current president, will remain chairman and chief executive officer.
Ferriola has also been elected to the company's board. He has served as Nucor's chief operating officer of steelmaking operations since 2007. He's been with the company since 1991.
