PITTSBURGH (AP) -- U.S. Steel named Gerald Gagliano as general manager of logistics services on Thursday.
Gagliano, 55, has been the director of supply chain management in U.S. Steel's enterprise resource planning group since 2009.
In his new role, effective July 1, he will be in charge of oversight of all outbound rail, barge, and truck operations in the U.S. and Canada. Gagliano has been with the company since 1977.
Shares of United States Steel Corp. slipped $1.26 to $44.05 Thursday.
