LONDON (AP) -- Spirits maker Bacardi Limited has appointed Silvia Lagnado chief marketing officer and president of Bacardi Global Brands.
Lagnado, 46, joins the privately-held company after 24 years at Unilever, effective Sept. 1. She will be based at Bacardi Global Brands headquarters in London.
Lagnado led Dove's popular "Campaign for Real Beauty" and had been based in London most recently as executive vice president for savory products, which includes brands like Knorr.
Bacardi, based in Hamilton, Bermuda, makes brands such as Bacardi rum, Grey Goose vodka, Dewar's Scotch whisky and Bombay Sapphire gin.
