Katina Kravik is promoted to chief executive officer of Northwire, Inc. -- Technical Cable, representing the third generation in her family to own and lead privately held company.

OSCEOLA, Wis. -- Katina Kravik is promoted to chief executive officer of Northwire, Inc. -- Technical Cable. Kravik represents the third generation in her family to own and lead the privately held 37-year old company.

Kravik's Grandfather, Ormund Kravik, founded Northwire in 1972. A mechanical engineer with an entrepreneurial spirit and industrious nature, Kravik formed Northwire when he could not source cable for one of his other businesses. Mark Kravik, Katina's father, led the second generation for over 30 years and will continue in a new role as chairman of the board.

Northwire, Inc., headquartered in Osceola, Wis., is a designer, manufacturer and marketer of technical and retractile cables for diverse applications.
