PLANO, Texas -- Invensys Operations Management, a global provider of technology systems, software solutions and consulting services to the process and manufacturing industries, has added two leaders to its executive team.
Dr. Ravi Gopinath and Teemu Tunkelo have joined Invensys as regional presidents for Asia Pacific (APAC) and Europe/Russia/Africa (EURA), respectively.
Tunkelo has a strong background in a variety of software and systems integration roles for top-tier companies, including Nokia, Compaq, Siemens and, most recently, ABB. At ABB he held several global senior management positions in the automation business.
Gopinath started his professional career with Tata Consultancy Services, where he primarily built and led the global engineering and industrial services business. In 2006 he joined Geometric Ltd, a firm specializing in engineering products and technologies, as its chief executive officer.
Both Gopinath and Tunkelo begin working with Invensys Operations Management on October 1, 2009.
