MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. (AP) -- Footwear maker Skechers USA Inc. said Wednesday that Fred Schneider, the footwear maker's chief financial officer, has resigned his position to pursue other interests.
Skechers said Schneider will remain with the company through February to enable an orderly transition.
The company said that David Weinberg will continue to act as chief operating officer and assume the additional responsibilities of chief financial officer, a position he held from 1994 to 2006.
