BEDFORD, Mass. (AP) -- Medical device company Insulet Corp. named Peter J. Devlin its chief commercial officer Monday.
The position is newly created and Devlin will lead the company's sales, market, business development, clinical research and customer care operations.
Devlin spent the last 11 years at Abbott Laboratories, most recently serving as divisional vice president of global strategic marketing for diabetes care.
Shares of Insulet added 4 cents to $8.34 in midday trading Tuesday.
