Spartan Motors CFO To Retire

Vehicle chassis maker said Friday that James Knapp, its chief financial and compliance officer, treasurer and senior vice president will retire.

CHARLOTTE, Mich. (AP) -- Spartan Motors Inc., which makes vehicle chassis, said Friday that James Knapp, its chief financial and compliance officer, treasurer and senior vice president will retire.

The company said he will retire "within the next few months."

Knapp, 63, has served as CFO for the past seven years. He has been a senior vice president since 2004 and chief compliance officer since last year.

Spartan Motors has begun a search to find a replacement.
