Eaton Exec Joins Dana Holdings As CEO

Auto-parts supplier named James E. Sweetnam as president and chief executive.

TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) -- Toledo-based auto parts supplier Dana Holding Corp. is bringing in a new chief executive from a Cleveland industrial parts maker.

Dana on Wednesday named James Sweetnam as its president and chief executive. He comes from Eaton Corp., a maker of electrical and hydraulic parts and systems for the auto, truck and aircraft markets.

Sweetnam had been president of the global truck group at Eaton. He replaces John Devine, who will remain as executive chairman.

Devine has been Dana's acting chief executive since the company emerged from bankruptcy protection in early 2008.
