Lennox International CFO Resigns

Heating and refrigeration company said CFO Susan K. Carter, who is also executive vice president, is leaving to 'pursue other career opportunities.'

DALLAS (AP) -- Lennox International Inc., the heating and refrigeration company, said Monday its chief financial officer is leaving and named its chief accounting officer as interim CFO while it looks for a permanent replacement.

The company said CFO Susan K. Carter, who is also executive vice president, is leaving the Dallas company to "pursue other career opportunities."

"We appreciate Sue's contributions to LII over the last five years and wish her continued success," said Chief Excecutive Todd Bluedorn.

Lennox said it named Roy A. Rumbough Jr., who is also its vice president and controller, as interim CFO. The company said it has begun an external search for a permanent CFO.

Shares rose 53 cents, or 1.7 percent, to $31.25 in afternoon trading.
