MIDLAND, Mich. (AP) -- Dow Chemical Co. on Monday said it named William Weideman chief financial officer and executive vice president.
Weideman, who has worked for Dow for 30 years, has been serving as vice president and interim CFO since Nov. 3, 2009 and will continue to report to chairman and CEO Andrew Liveris. Weideman succeeds Geoffery Merszei in the role, who is currently president of Dow Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Shares of Dow fell 20 cents to $29.80.
