CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) -- Campbell Soup Co. on Friday named Debra DeMuth as vice president global nutrition.
DeMuth succeeds Chor-San Khoo, who is stepping into the newly created position of senior research fellow for external scientific affairs.
DeMuth, who previously served as director of global nutrition for McDonald's Corp., will work with Campbell's divisions and nutrition groups within research and development to create wellness strategies. She will also develop and coordinate regional nutritional components such as research programs and clinical trials.
DeMuth's appointment takes effect on Feb. 22, the soup maker said. She will report to George Dowdie, senior vice president of global research & development and quality.
Shares of Campbell Soup fell 45 cents to $33.11 in midday trading.
