SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) -- Graphics chip maker Nvidia Corp. said Friday that it appointed David White to take over for Chief Financial Officer Marvin Burkett, who is retiring.
White, 53, becomes CFO effective immediately, the company said. He had previously worked as CFO for electronics contract manufacturer Sanmina-SCI Corp.
Burkett worked as Nvidia's CFO for over six years and the company expects him to stay on as a senior adviser. Nvidia said last March that Burkett planned to retire.
