Autodesk Names New VP Of EMIA

Design software maker for the manufacturing industry announced Mark Paraskeva has been appointed as vice president of Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMIA).

FARNBOROUGH, U.K., -- Autodesk Inc. announced that Mark Paraskeva has been appointed as the company’s new vice president of Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMIA).  In his new role, Paraskeva will lead and be responsible for Autodesk’s operations across the EMIA region. 

Paraskeva’s appointment reflects the EMIA region’s increasing contribution to Autodesk’s business, with income from the region now exceeding US$1 billion - approximately 40 percent of Autodesk’s total global revenues, says the company.

Prior to his appointment he held the position of vice president of Northern Europe, integrating the United Kingdom and Ireland, Benelux and Nordics into a high-performing industry-focused region.

Paraskeva joined Autodesk at the beginning of 2004  He has over 25 years experience in the high tech industry with roles spanning all aspects of management including marketing, customer support, technical development and sales.
