TORONTO (AP) -- Bombardier Aerospace said Thursday that Virginia-based Colgan Air Inc. signed a firm order to purchase 15 Q400 NextGen turboprop airliners with a total list value of $432 million.

Toronto-based Bombardier Aerospace said Colgan Air confirmed a previous order for 10 aircraft and also exercised options on orders for five Q400s placed in 2007 by its parent company, Pinnacle Airlines Corp.

The aircraft division of Bombardier Inc. said firm orders for the Q400/Q400 NextGen now total 346, with 219 delivered to date. Orders for Q400 NextGen, a stretched and upgraded version of the Dash 8 airliners, account for 49 of the total, it said.
