Reynolds American Appoints CEOs For Subsidiaries

Tobacco company named Bryan K. Stockdale CEO of smokeless tobacco manufacturer Conwood, and Nicholas A. Bumbacco CEO of Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Co.

WISTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) -- Tobacco company Reynolds American Inc. on Tuesday announced the appointment of new chief executives for two subsidiaries, Conwood Company LLC and Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Co. Inc.

Bryan K. Stockdale, 50, will become CEO of smokeless tobacco manufacturer Conwood effective Feb. 1. He replaces William M. Rosson, 60, who is retiring. Stockdale is senior vice president of marketing operations for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, Reynolds American's largest subsidiary.

Nicholas A. Bumbacco, 44, will become CEO of Santa Fe on March 1. Bumbacco is CEO of the Reynolds American subsidiary R.J. Reynolds Global Products Inc.

Bumbacco will replace Richard M. Sanders, 55, who will remain in an advisory capacity before retiring on July 1.

Reynolds American shares rose 14 cents to $42.31 in morning trading.
