Northrop Grumman Gets Third Navy Order

Defense contractor received a third order from the Navy for its airborne electronic attack systems under an existing $101.9 million contract.

BETHPAGE, N.Y. (AP) -- Defense contractor Northrop Grumman Corp. said Monday it received a third order from the Navy for its airborne electronic attack systems under an existing $101.9 million contract.

The systems help to identify and destroy enemy radar-guided air defense and communication systems.

Northrop Grumman will be responsible for delivering seven complete systems as well as some parts and spares, with deliveries set to start in the 2010 second quarter.
