SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) -- Photon Dynamics Inc., which makes testing equipment for flat-panel electronics, said Monday it appointed James P. Moniz as chief financial officer, effective last Friday.
Moniz, 50, was previously CFO of chip testing company Nextest Systems Corp. and has 28 years of accounting and finance experience for technology companies.
He replaces Michael Schradle, who was appointed CFO in 2006 and resigned at the end of January after the company concluded an accounting restatement.
Photon makes testing and repair equipment for flat-panel TVs and other electronic equipment.
