FORT WORTH, Texas — Intermet Corporation, a leading manufacturer of cast-metal automotive components, announced the appointment of Robert "Bob" Axe as group president, Die Cast Group.
Axe has overall responsibility for Intermet's Die Casting operations, reporting directly to Jeff Mihalic, president & CEO, Intermet Corporation.
Axe has extensive experience in the manufacturing sector with American Honda Motor Company, Inc., where he held multiple positions over the past 24 years.
Most recently, Axe held the position of Vice President and Plant Manager for Honda's Marysville, Ohio Motorcycle Plant, the company's only motorcycle plant in North America.
