CHICAGO — Northstar Aerospace Inc. has named Michael Tkach interim president and chief executive officer.
Tkach, who joined the aircraft transmission maker's board in November, replaces Mark Emery, whose resignation effective Dec. 31 had been announced in November.
Tkach, a former U.S. navy carrier pilot, retired last year as vice-president and general manager of Boeing Rotorcraft Systems.
Northstar, headquartered in Chicago, has plants in Illinois, Arizona, Oklahoma, Indiana, and at Milton and Windsor in Ontario.
