BELOIT, Wis. (AP) — Regal Beloit Corp., a maker of motion-control and power generation products, said Friday it acquired the motors and fans business of Indian company Alstom.
Terms were undisclosed. Regal Beloit expects the deal will add about $10 million to fourth-quarter sales and $80 million to fiscal 2008 sales.
The company also expects it to add 6 to 8 cents per share to earnings in fiscal 2008.
