MILPITAS, Calif. (AP) — Semiconductor manufacturing equipment maker Nanometrics Inc. on Monday named Gary C. Schaefer chief financial officer, effective immediately.
He replaces interim CFO Quentin B. Wright, who has held that post since April, when he replaced Douglas J. McCutcheon.
Schaefer has served as Nanometrics' director of internal audit since April and was an internal audit consultant to the company in 2005 and 2006.
