HOUSTON (AP) -- FMC Technologies Inc. said on Monday that President and Chief Executive Peter D. Kinnear has been named chairman as well.
The company makes machinery for the energy industry and other industrial markets.
Kinnear succeeds Joseph H. Netherland, who had been chairman since March 2007. Netherland will remain on the board.
Kinnear was named president and chief operating officer in 2006 and CEO in March 2007. He has been with FMC Technologies or its predecessor since 1971.
