MALVERN, Pa. (AP) -- Chip maker Vishay Intertechnology Inc. said Thursday that it named Lior Yahalomi as chief financial officer, taking the place of Richard N. Grubb, who is stepping down effective Sept. 1.
The company said Grubb will work as a consultant to Vishay's executive chairman.
Yahalomi had been corporate senior vice president of mergers and acquisitions for Vishay.
Vishay also said that it named Lori Lipcaman to the new post of chief accounting officer. Lipcaman had worked as a corporate senior vice president operations controller.
Vishay shares rose 7 cents to $9.02 in afternoon trading.
