Integral Systems Names CEO

Satellite systems maker on Wednesday named John B. Higginbotham chief executive and appointed him to its board of directors.

LANHAM, Md. (AP) -- Satellite systems maker Integral Systems Inc. on Wednesday named John B. Higginbotham chief executive and appointed him to its board of directors.

Interim CEO Alan Baldwin has returned to his previous role as a director, the company said.

Higginbotham founded SpaceVest Capital, now RedShift Ventures, a private equity firm for the space industry. Before SpaceVest, Higginbotham co-founded Intec, now known as AXASpace, a space and telecommunications insurance underwriting management firm.

Integral Systems fell 48 cents to $39.57 during the regular session.
