NEW YORK (AP) -- Industrial equipment maker Dover Corp. said Thursday Ronald L. Hoffman will retire as president and chief executive as soon as the company's board identifies a successor.
Dover named long-time company veteran Robert A. Livingston, 54, as president and chief operating officer, effective July 1.
Livingston currently serves as a vice president of Dover and the chief executive of its engineered systems segment.
Dover makes parts and equipment for industrial products, engineered systems, fluid management and electronic technologies markets.
