DETROIT (AP) -- Auto parts supplier American Axle & Manufacturing Inc. on Thursday promoted Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer David C. Dauch to president, effective Sunday.
Dauch, who joined the company in 1995, will continue to serve as COO.
