WASHINGTON -- The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) has appointed Robyn Boerstling Director of Transportation and Infrastructure Policy.
Boerstling previously worked at the U.S. Department of Transportation as counselor to the assistant secretary in the Office of Transportation Policy.
"Improving America's transportation infrastructure -- our roads, ports, bridges, rails and waterways -- is vital to manufacturing and the American economy," said NAM President John Engler. "Robyn, with her experience at the Transportation Department, will help the NAM convey that crucial message to our lawmakers. We're glad she has joined our top-notch team of policymakers."
Boerstling's areas of focus will be transportation and infrastructure, including helping oversee the NAM's Alliance for Improving America's Infrastructure.
