Rockwell Automation Names New CFO

Theodore D. Crandall has been the interim chief financial officer at the industrial automation equipment and services since April.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Rockwell Automation Inc., which provides industrial automation equipment and services, said Monday it named Theodore D. Crandall as senior vice president and chief financial officer.
 
Crandall, 52, joined the company in 1978 and has served as interim chief financial officer since April. Before that, he was senior vice president and head of the company's control products and services segment.
 
Rockwell also named Robert Ruff to lead its control products and services business. Ruff joined the company in 1976 and most recently served as senior vice president for Americas sales.
 
Rockwell shares rose a penny to $71.69 in morning trading.
