DANBURY, Conn. — Praxair Distribution, Inc., its joint venture business, Welco-CGI Gas Technologies, LLC and GT&S signed an agreement forming an industrial gases distribution joint venture.
Welco-CGI and GT&S will contribute their current businesses and Praxair will contribute production-related assets including its Bethlehem, Pa., specialty gases manufacturing facility.
The new company is expected to have 700 employees and serve 34,000 customers in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, environmental, chemical, biotechnology, university research and metal fabrication industries.
