DALLAS (AP) — Chemical maker Celanese Corp. said Monday it has sold the films business of its AT Plastics subsidiary to British Polythene Industries PLC for an undisclosed amount.
The films business manufactures products for the agricultural, horticultural and construction industries. British Polythene Industries is a U.K.-based maker of packaging products.
The sale is part of Celanese's ongoing plan to divest its noncore businesses.
